Field Notes

Description:

A very spongy like fungus. Numerous ones around an oak tree. The bottom of the stem of the fungus was red. There seemed to be some mold patches on the underside of the fungus.

Notes:

First spotting with new camera!

Update: the blue markings appeared after the spongy surface was scratched.
