I don´t know about the coloring ...maybe the trametes pubescens: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trametes_pubescens
Yes, I realized that J. I was wondering because of it... I thought it seemed too "soft"...then I thought maybe it was sort of decaying as fungii tend to vary this a lot regarding time.... But I couldn´t find one like this...
Ganoderma is much harder and less flimsy. It looks to be in the genus Trametes.
Nice spotting bradwatts. As the Ganoderma applanatum has a cosmopolitan distribution I think it may be it but an expert may tell you better...
