Field Notes

Description:

This bug was found on the lim of a tree. It is about 1/2 long and 1/2 wide. The back of it is black with 3 white/tan dots (looks like a scary mask). It was slowly crawling up the branch and didn't like it when I got too close. It would move very quickly when my camera was close by it.

Habitat:

Secondary Tropical Rainforest

Notes:

According to my research, I would say that this is a stink bug but I have failed to find and exact species or scientific name for it.
