Field Notes

Description:

Orchid Cactus type segments. This is a climbing variety. Segments are approximately 6+ inches.

Habitat:

Located in Florida on the west coast. It is climbing a palm tree.

Notes:

The plant has taken over the trunk of a living palm tree. Does have good sized cactus needles. I was told that it produces very large and colorful flowers that droop off of the ends of the segments
