Arctiidae, Ctenuchinae, Syntomoides imaon. Another common name might also be Handmaiden Moth (?). I think that some of these tricky group of Syntomoides and Amata are wrongly IDed on the web. So I added some with the correct ID to compare:

Might be also a Syntomoides, but in my eyes not Imaon.
Amata phegeo is not found in India, but to be honest, my first thoughts were also Amata ;-)...
