Pores, small 1-4 mm elipses
Which seems to be present (as a fuzzy patterning) down along the stipe
Stipe: 1.5-3 cm thick and solid

Flesh is white and was squishy due to all the recent rain.

Habitat:

This area has some hard soil, but right near the river there is more sandy and wet habitat. Lots of long green grass and decaying trees. Live oak and maybe Toumey oak, as well as a few big leaf. Attached environment shot and highlighted 2 specimens

Notes:

Very rainy recently and the area just 30 feet away was completely flooded last week.

Maybe a Bolete or Suillus?
