I agree with Machi DebabrataDeb. We have them all over here in our house in Ecuador, although they are gray and not so reddish. If they are alive, sometimes pushing "gently" in the middle with make the "worm" stick it's head out the end.
This looks like something from Genus Phereoeca - Household Casebearer Moths. This should be moved to the arthropods category.
It is found everywhere in wall of my locality and collage
