Field Notes

Description:

Gymnopilus junonius? The 4th photo is a macro of the tiny mushroom at the base. The 5th photo is the gills of the large mushroom.

Habitat:

Coniferous Woods make up of mostly pine. These where at the shore of a small lake. Nearby (can be seen in photos) there was at least 3 species of lichen, and two species of moss. Diverse little area!

Notes:

First 3 photos taken with iPhone4, last 2 were taken with Pentax K200D with reversed 50mm.
