Field Notes

Description:

A really amazing tree of around 7-8m. The fruits were hanging on really long stems dangling from the branches. I'm guessing this is a type of Fig (Ficus sp.) but I couldn't ID it.

Habitat:

Found on the mangrove walk in Cape Hillsborough National Park.

Thanks Scott, I went through quite a few including the one you've suggested, but none of them had the fruits hanging on such long branches. This was one of the closest though. Thanks.
Try looking at Cluster figs : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cluster_Fig Might be that one.
