Description:
I spotted this old dried up mushroom on top of a an old wood pile in the middle of the woods. There were not roots to speak of, and the mushroom was very dry and light. The wood pile has been there for about 10 years and was left to rot.
Habitat:
Mostly deciduous woods with mostly maple trees. Small lake near by.
