Field Notes

Description:

The insect was about two inches long, and one inch thick. It's hind legs were covered in a stripe pattern alternating dark brown, and an almost beige color. It's body was a dark brown, and it really camouflaged well with the branch that the insect was sitting on.

Habitat:

I found this insect resting on a branch in the Singapore American School's secondary rainforest, behind the school.

Notes:

The insect was found around 2:30 PM.
