Habitat:

the spider built his/her web between two light posts in a small flower bed in a parking lot outside Harbor Square Fitness Club

Notes:

this picture was taken at night, under the light from the lamp post. We believe the spider chose a very strategic location for its web as the light would attract bugs for it to eat.
