Description:
This unusual arthropod was about 1-2 inches in length and about 2 centimeters in height. It clearly utilizes warning color as seen on its legs, head, and body. It's legs were quite big in relation to it's wings. It was actually not very afraid of my camera, staying in position for at least ten seconds before flying to the next leaf.
Habitat:
This arthropod stayed on the outer edge of the trees, flying from leaf to leaf feeding off of them (from what I saw).
