Description:

Fuzzy May beetle with pale orange fungus (?) growing on it. Fungus is most noticeable on one side of head, but there are smaller patches in other places. Beetle seemed to be acting abnormally. It was lethargic and clumsy, and it moved very little except for occasional bursts. I think whatever was growing on/in it had taken it over and it wasn't going to live much longer.

Habitat:

Found on back porch screen door, near light.
