Thank you Cindy, though I may have this name wrong! Thank you for pointing this out kd. I just had a bit of a search for the hairy cheese tree & this one seems to have softer, more lime coloured leaves. I'll put it back as 'unnamed' until I find out further. It's quite a common tree around here, so I should have no trouble getting the correct ID. Thank you for the heads up kd :)
I've just recently discovered a cheese tree in my area as regeneration takes place. Your photo shows fine hairs on the whole section, mine is completely smooth. Could yours be the uncommon pubens variety, (the hairy cheese tree), smaller, fruit & leaves covered in very fine hairs? That would be quite exciting.
