Description:
This ant was moving at an incredible speed and had its behind lifted vertically from the ground, its bodysize is around 1 cm and the head is over-sized. Making me believe it is a soldier-ant, I never spotted several working together only one lonely ant occationally roaming the ground
Habitat:
Rocky, dry steppearea close to the mediterranean sea.
Notes:
I had trouble taking close ups, it would only stay still for a few seconds and then moved at incredible speed, these two are the two best pictures I'm afraid.
