Field Notes

Description:

This tiny moth had wings that reminded me of stained glass.....in spots, the wings were almost see through-allowing the colour of the sky or the grass to show through as the moth moved about the screen.

Notes:

He had somehow gotten trapped inside the screened in porch...after taking a few photo's I opened the door and helped him get outside where he gladly flew away!!

Thanks J and HansGPaal...appreciate your input...I have no idea what kind it is-just thought it look cool!
This is a moth in the Crambidae, not a skipper butterfly. I am looking for an ID right now.
