Even I have the same pic Sumukha Javagal!!!!!!
The plant was used in Norwegian folk-medicine to treat lack of C vitamin as well as it has substances that naturally lower high fevers, it grows in sour dirt at low density light. Though it was used as medicine in the past...overuse may cause kidney-issues since the plant contain the oxalic acid, it is not dangerous and you can easy lower the acid-content by washing the leafs in warm water. To clear out any misunderstandings, any medicine is only meant to be used only once in a while, and only when it is absolutely necessary, using it to prevent decease will not help and will in fact only make the effect lower by using the plant continually before a high fever hit.
Yes it is the common wood sorrel, I'm sorry if I took your suggestion under your nose LarsKorb, but I instantly recognized it from where I live and looked it up from Norwegian to English and it was the same species you suggested :)
Probably Oxalis acetosella, Wood Sorrel
