Field Notes

Description:

Dark purple caterpillar with lighter purple pink sides. It has white and black lines all over its body which are dividing its body length in different shades of purple. The most remarkable thing is the long tentacle at the back.

Habitat:

In the garden of our school. Near the Avila mountain range at 1000mtrs altitude. Altamira, Caracas, Venezuela

Notes:

Just remarkable, the long tentacle.
