Field Notes

Description:

Vine branched into window frame beside my house, North/NW wall. 15 ft tall, base 3" diameter. Grey bark filamentous roots clinging. This is all that's left rooted in a pot.

Habitat:

N/NW facing, dark, clay soil in amongst Japanese barberry shrubs.
