Field Notes

Description:

Two mushrooms. One 20 cm, one 10 cm tall. Rusty colored bottom half of stem. Annulus. Red base of stem. Bulbous underground base. Very slow yellowing staining of crushed base.

Habitat:

Growing in Wood chips under fir tree.
