Brazilian Skipper

Calpodes ethlius

Comments (2)

The skipper shares characteristics of both moth and butterfly. They have earned the name skipper due to their darting around from flower to flower. When they are not flying around erratically, skippers will hold their short wings in a vertical position, much like a butterfly does. They come in a wider range of colors and patterns and are always fun to watch.
