Field Notes

Description:

This small spider belong to the Linyphiidae family. It's a small spider, brilliant red color with a small black mark in the abdomen.
It was building a net in a bush at 50 cm from the soil.

Habitat:

I found it in Ribera Norte natural reserve, in San Isidro, Buenos Aires. This area is part of the Delta ecosystem. It is a forest with abundant and closed vegetation.
