Description:

Wolf Spider? (I'm really bad with Spiders). This poor thing only had 5 legs!

Houses.

This has been ID'd as a Male funnel-web weaver, family Agelenidae. Probably a species of Agelenopsis. by Eric R. Eaton
One time I saw a spider with six legs 4 of them huge, two of them tiny. It also had huge fangs but it was small.
That is one skinny male, and you're right - it's seen better days.
It looks a lot like a Hobo Spider, but I don't think they're found in Maine...
