Species ID Suggestions

Turk's Cap Lily

Lilium superbum

Ah, the joys of common names. I actually did not know about L. columbianum, I know Turk's Cap Lily and looked that up. L. columbianum is Tiger Lily which to me is a different looking plant. Based on range this almost has to be L. columbianum unless it is an escape or cultivated plant as L. supurbum is an eastern species according to the USDA range maps.
How can you tell the difference between Lilium superbum and L. columbianum?
