Description:

this bird can be seen all around the parks in Medellin. they can be seen hunting bugs in the grass by listening for them much like a robin.

Members of the Myiarchus genus have brown and more rounded heads.

it is close but i have yet to see one with anything like a crest and they dont have the banding around the neck. how big do they get? these are about the size as a thin robin.
