Field Notes

Description:

I'm not sure if this is a Digger bee?
It looks like the Amegilla cingulata (one of the Australian blue banded bees)
Although the Australian blue banded bee has fuzz on the thorax but this bee does not have any fuzz on the thorax at all?! And this bee is a lot more yellow then the Australian blue banded bee then this bee?!

Habitat:

Sunflower field

Notes:

This bee was waiting for a girlfriend like the Rose mallow bee except this bee is not curled up inside a Rose mallow plant.

Species ID Suggestions
