Description:

Two ants taking turns to guard their eggs..
You can see the ant on the top of the leaf had just arrived allowing the ant (at the bottom of the leaf) to probably go for its break :) (ant break)

Wow ! thats a ton of information martinl, i never thought of that this could also be a situation. Thank you very much for the comment.
This spotting is probably of aphids or young leafhoppers (hemiptera) or larvae (lepidoptera) or their eggs. Ants attend these species and protect them in return for honeydew, a sugary substance on which the ants feed. I believe that ants will lay eggs enclosed in communal leafy nests or underground. They are certainly guarding some creatures but I suspect a different species.
