Looks like shaggy mane mushroom (Coprinus comatus). They're good to eat (make sure on the ID though, of course). A lot of water cooks out of them, they turned my wife's quiche into soup. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Shaggy_manes.JPG
