Hi Skylar, welcome to Project Noah. Since you know what this animal is, you can put 'Hermit Crab' in the common name box. However, there are over 1100 species of hermit crabs, so if you don't know what particular type of hermit crab it is, you can leave the scientific name field blank. Crabs also belong in the category 'arthropods' - I have updated this for you, but if this is a pet you can update it to 'Pets' category when you're entering the common name. Enjoy Project Noah and we'll look forward to seeing more of your photos!
