Field Notes

Description:

Small shiny Salticid of about 4mm body length. Cephalothorax with a green tinge and pale outline; abdomen was more towards a gold colour with a pale line around it and two thick black stripes with white spots; legs were brown with dark bands.

Habitat:

Found in 'El Cimatario' national park, just outside of Querétaro. The area is semi-arid, with lots of acacia and cacti.
