Description:

Blue Moth on a leaf close to a pond. Found at at ocean front hotel in Phuket, Thailand. about 16:00 hrs

I have a message from another forum. The poster said that it may be a new species to Thailand… If someone can identify it as not a new species would be great but quite exciting if it is a new species.
Such moths mostly find in Arctiidae family.

Thank you. This is so fun. I live off a main road but lots of jungle around me and find so many great things. Will be posting more… Hoping someone can id this gorgeous moth too. This photo is un altered. No filter. It truly was one of the most amazing things I have seen above the surface.

This photo was so long ago.. about 4 centimetres. Standard moth size..
sorry i couldn't found the species or even genus.. BTW how big is it ?
