Here's a list of the Stachys of Maryland: http://www.marylandbiodiversity.com/viewChecklist.php?genus=Stachys I think Stachys is the correct genus...definitely in the mint family: square stems, opposite leaves
It's a wild plant I've seen it along a lot of roadsides and trails
Looks like a Salvia..not sure of the species...is it a wild plant?
