large robber fly with prey, possibly in the genus Diogmites

Habitat:

miombo woodland, 1000m

Notes:

I spotted this in Namizimu forest reserve.

Thanks Forest and doreen. You're probably right, I haven't found any matches but I've put it in my notes.
Awesome capture! I believe your predator here is actually a species of fly! It is most likely a type of Robber Fly. It reminds me greatly of one of the Hanging-thieves from Genus Diogmites.
