Field Notes

Description:

About 12-15mm in length, irregularly coloured in shades of brown blending in perfectly with the rocky ground. Makes a buzzing sound while in the air during a jump. Very active despite the fact that temperatures are low at an altitude of nearly 4000m.

Habitat:

Island (Isla del Sol) on Lake Titicaca, at around 4000m above sea level.
