thank you Lauren, if you have seen the same species in Chiapas its probably wide spread in Mexico along temperate areas habitats....i dont know?
I found this larva also in Chiapas and don't know what it is, a leaf beetle also seems what it is to me. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/16567089/fullscreen
This is a beetle larva, a leaf beetle of some kind, I think.
