Description:
Muerdago, Viscum
El fruto es una baya, blanca, amarilla, naranja, o roja al madurar, con varias semillas en el interior del jugo pegajoso contenido en el fruto; las aves, al comerlo, dispersan las pegajosas semillas que quedan adheridas a las ramas de los árboles pudiendo germinar de ese modo.
Habitat:
Found it on a Jocote tree, it attracted my attention because the leaves and flowers were totally different. So the gardener told me it was a Viscum (muerdago).
Tropical region of Guatemala about 20km to the north of the city. In San Pedro Ayampuc
Notes:
We took one branch to grow it on a more cold weather.
