Field Notes

Description:

I was not entirely sure if these are the same species of naturally growing trees. They were not vey far from each other and the trees above are so covered in vines, I can't determine if they are hickory because they also look like oaks.

Habitat:

The habitat is on either sideof the trail head located in a land trust protected area. They didn't fall, thankfully, on the path but it's a feat place to be for a newly sprouted tree!
