Field Notes

Description:

Barkfly nymphs of about 3mm body length. Chocolate brown with two pale markings on the tip of the abdomen. Congregation of aprox. 30 individuals, forming a cluster of about 2.5cm diameter. Found on tree bark.

Habitat:

Found in 'El Cimatario', a national park in semi-arid area just outside the city. The rainy season is now in full swing and many animals are venturing out.
