I agree with carlamartinezgarcia. This does look like an Orbweaver spider. Do you have any pictures of the spider's other side? Many of these types of spiders are similar looking and can be identified from the markings on their dorsums (back). Maybe you can find your spider here: http://bugguide.net/node/view/1972/bgpage
