I was told that this moth is to worn to be ID'd.

Habitat:

Field edge, close to gardens and Mixed Woodland.

Thanks, That's what I was thinking too. The closest thing I could find is Euxoa velleripennis though the flight time is way off.
Very worn, though I'd say Noctuidae, perhaps a Noctuinae. Hope this helps, Fyn!
