Field Notes

Description:

Thick body. Iridescent green head Dane body, abdomens striped with black. Clear wings are also an iridescent green hue.

Habitat:

Open areas, edges of brush. This one was spotted about 500 meters from the beach.

Notes:

I am not at all sure of the scientific name, as I have not seen any quite like this. It may be a Libellulidae or Cordulegastridae
