Field Notes

Description:

Galls on leaves.

Notes:

I wondered, since these galls are located on the leaves of trees is this how they disperse themselves? In other words, is a key factor to the dispersal of these organisms the fact that the wind blows the leaves to another location once they are dislodged from the tree in the fall?
