Field Notes

Description:

This is a large arthropod. Appears to be a hopper, a grasshopper, may be. From the legs it appears to be a leaf insect nymph, may be. Length: 55 mm.

Habitat:

Farmland surrounded by a large mixed forest. Warm place.

Notes:

This one I spotted at the bungalow nearby which had visited the light.
