Field Notes

Description:

Black body with orange stripes on the abdomen and a yellow dot on the fac and the beginning of the antenna are yellow. Possible male and female as one had bright orange stripes and the other had orange stripes that fade a bit as they went down.

Habitat:

Found in backyard. Dont really know.

Notes:

Im assuming they are mating as once finished they flew off separate ways.

Thanks for the suggestion. Certainly looks very similar and possibly a potter wasp. The orange one in the link the orange was all one colour where as these were in bands.
