Description:

Sorry, not a great picture. Male spider about the size of a dime caught in my bedroom. Very similar coloration to the trapdoor spider I found last year (not easily seen in this light). If i had to guess, I'd say a male version of that, but not sure since it's significantly smaller.

Thank you for the suggestion Roseline and kudos on tackling your fear. Project Noah has helped me a bit with arachnophobia as well. I'm afraid Tigrosa Grandis may be out of our range. Bug guide said it's common in the mid and northwest... we are southeast. However, I can see some similarities :) These pictures are really not my better ones, so it's not easy to tell coloration and size.
hi I actually suffer from arachnophobia and i am overcoming my fear a bit by knowing what kinds there are sort of self cure by learning my fear. I believe this could be one of the Tigrosa grandis spiders relitives
