Might be some Scutellaria, but I also lack the leaves ;)
LOL - okay. Sry for misundderstanding. I am going to try and take a shot of the entire plant the next days :)
Sorry I don't think you understood me. I mean that for myself. I have seen a that type before but just don't remember.
Hm? I just said that it is no Foxglove - and that's certain. And no, I've not seen this one before elsewhere.
funny when you know you seen that type before but you just can't remember where. I'm sure someone else can.
might be a cultivar of prunella...need to see some foliage
That's why I asked if you had a shot of the whole plant
Thanks for the suggestion, Jellis; but it's no Foxglove. Have a look at the second pic that shows the bud capsules growing densely up the stalk. This plant is also much much smaller than a Foxglove - just about 20-25 cm tall. It was growing on dry soil on a stone-wall fence.
Looks like foxglove. Do you have any shots of the whole plant?
