It's a fruit fly similar to this http://bugguide.net/node/view/642082, Veronica. But I don't know the exact ID :(
I added photos 3 and 4 to show you the size relative to my finger and to a medium-sized ant. I believe they do move their wings a lot. I'll check on them again this weekend.
Thank you, Agnes and Leana!:) They usually hold their wings up. Can they be derbid planthoppers? I usually find them on buds, together with the paper wasps and ants.
