Description:

About 7 inches long. Black and blue stomach. Small black eyes. Light brown and orange upper body.

Habitat:

Hardwood forrest with small field beside it.

Notes:

Quick lizard. Very curious.

There is only one spiny lizard like this in South Carolina (Sceloporus undulatus) http://www.carolinaherpatlas.org/maps/carolina.aspx
It's probably the lighing to make it looks orange. Most likely Eastern Fence Lizard (Sceloporus undulatus)
