Species ID Suggestions

American Bumble Bee

Bombus fevidus

Comments (3)

Definitely nothing like a Bumble Bee. By the way Beth, in line with Project Noah's policy of only using ones own photographs, if you wish to use another user's photographs for any reason permission should be sought from the user via the comments first.
I think this looks more like a fly than a bee, and it is much too small to be a bumble bee
Please have a look at our FAQ before continuing to upload to this site, www.projectnoah.org/faq There you will find that each spotting should only contain one species, and the photos should be identifiable. I removed all the photos from this spotting that in no way could be identified, and left the one that has a little potential in being identified. I also moved it to the arthropods category for you and ticked the "help me ID this species" box. We look forward to seeing your photo of wildlife on here in the future, thanks
